More Pictures!!

Since getting my first real paycheck in a few
months, I sorta went bananas at the yarn shop.
I've had busy busy fingers! Plus, I got my first
gift from my Secret Pal, which is way way exciting!

Here's my magical Panta in Knit
Picks Wool of the Andes on Size 5s.
This color totally rocks my socks!

Here's Marley reluctantly modelling this scarfy thing.
It was initailly gonna be a Lelah lacy tube top thingy,
but I realised that I'm too chubby to wear tank tops
so I bound it off and voila.

Here's Marley mid-giggle

Here she is wearing a headband that I made
Last week. It's made out of this weird cottony
Noro yarn I got last week on sale. You can't
tell, but it's actually pretty.

Here's a Noro arm sleeve. I'm still working on
the other sleeve. It's pretty, but kinda itchy.

Here's the purtiest ball o yarn! It's a Noro yarn that
I wanted to use to make a Panta headband, but
it's so bold and brilliant that it's just
too pretty for a headband. Now, I'm trying
to find a project cool enough for this yarn.

Here's yarn I got this weekend at Rehoboth Beach.
It's made from Bamboo! It's weirdly soft, and kinda
plasticy, but not like acrylicy. I'm not sure what
to knit with it.

Here's a swatch I knit with it and a strand of that crazy
$1 Target fuzzy nylon yarn. It's unbelievably
soft, almost enough to convert a fiber snob, I swear!

And HOLY CRAP!! Looka what I did!!!! I made Jayne Cobb
Hats just in time for Serenity, which is
coming out next Friday! Here's Geoff!

The ladies and Ryan helped me pick out a yarn for
making another Panta headband. I chose a
greenish color, but the ladies were saying
that it was too drab and that I should try a
much brighter color. They said the blue brought
out my blue eyes, but of course, my eyes are
green, btu I just went with it.

And Here's the yarn my Secret Pal got me. Check this
out! I've never used this type of yarn before,
as the yarn stores near me don't sell it, plus,
it's kind of expensive. This is totally spoiling
me!! What's great is that I might not normally
pick out this color, but I totally love it!!
Both yarns look awesome with my skin and hair.
This is some seriously beautiful yarn. Thanks Secret Pal!!!

Up close and personal:

I bought this yarn at the yarn store on ultra mega
clearance. They put 5 balls in a bag and charged
$15 for it! It's really soft and the color is
amazing. I'm goig to make a shaw out of it. So
far, I'm using stockinette stitching with interspersed
rows of garter and eyelets, to emphasize the striping.
I can't wait to finish it and cuddle away!

This yarn kills me. Look at how pretty. I don't really
like pastel much, but damn, this yarn roped
me in. I was thinking about the magnificant
socks I could make out of this.

Then I realised that the colors wouldn't end up like
that on the sock. I balled it up and look what happened:

Ugly as hell... Maybe I can make baby socks?

This isn't knitting, but 2 yards of silk brocade
bought on wicked hardcore thank yo mama sale.

Fruits Basket!!!
