More Pictures

I haven't really done much this past month. Between
Midterms and getting sick and work and all, I've been a busy
little bee. Anyhow, I'm finally got around to posting pictures.

Here's Marley's costume for Halloween. I was gonna take her
out and get something cool, but my mom took her out and let her
pick out whatever, which contisted of not only this costume, but
also vampire fangs and witches hat with pink hair. After some gentle
persuasion, Marley realised that blood sucking witch butterlies aren't
immediately recognisable.

Here's Ryan trying to teach Marley how to ride on
her new bike that she got for her birthday.

I got this Manos Del Uruguay Cotton Stria at the yarn shop I found
in Kennett. I'm gonna give the green yarn to my secret pal. Hope she likes it.

I also got some Manos Del Uruguay wool in Olive, Brick, and
Woodland. So I decided to knit a So Called Scarf to match
my new coat (see my new awesome green coat!)

Stitch Details

Here's the hand painted lace weight yarn that my
Secret Pal sent me. Beautiful, huh?

And check this out: here's my copy of Yarn Harlot,
signed in all it's signed glory, awesome

And here's the other book, A Gathering of Lace,
a book which I've been wanting for a while

I'm working on this one

And here's what I have so far. I messed up (see, the center
knit line got wonky), so I'm gonna have to restart,
but I like how it looks so far. Geeee!!

I'm wokring on this one also

For detail sake, I stretched it over a shirt. I like it so far

I just got this book. I love it! Everything in it is amazing! Check it:

These are so much cooler then the slippers I've been making

These stockings are so hot, I want to make them so much!

I am not much for leg warmers, but damn, if I had time
to make these, I'd wear them every-friggin-where

This is just pretty, I will definitelly make this this month

Now, I love the knit lace picture frame mats, and I plan
on making some for gifts, but check out the I-cord and pom-pom
garland. Cool, huh? I bought myself an automatic I-cord knitter,
because, as much as I love knitting, the idea of knitting 50 odd
foot of I-cord does not make my heart sing

Here's the I-cord machine. It's easy to use and
quick as hell. I'll have that garland before I know it.

Here's that sweater machine my grandmother gave
me. It's pretty neat. I haven't really used it too much
yet, other then to test it. It does feel like cheating,
and I enjoy handknitting so much.

Here's what I did with that lucious Colinette yarn my Secret
pal gave me the first time around. I used size 13 needles,
but I think I'm gonna frog it and used 15s to make it a
little longer and less thick. But damn, is it pretty and warm.

Here's a slipper I made for Marley. I haven't got around to
making the other one cause I've been too busy

And here's the finished up slippers I made before. I wear
them everyday. They are too comfy and are perfect for me,
being someone who doesn't like wearing socks. They keep my
tootsies warm, but don't feel socky.

And check it out, one of my first scarves I ever knit. This
is probably about 5, maybe 6 years old, before I knew how to
weave in the ends and before I realised how crappy
Lion Brand Homespun is.

You know when you do something and spend a ton of time and
money on it, and you get about 90% done and lose all interest?
That happened here. I did the coif hat, the mittens and most
of the scarf and I just forgot about it. So this weekend, I
finished the scarf and lined the mittens with fleece to make
them extra snuggley.

And dammit, it's MJ!!!! Bestest Kitten Ever!!! Puurrruruurrr!
