More Pictures

Ryan and I were cleaning out our bedroom, so I thought
I'd take stock of some knitting related stuffs. Here's a shelf
I filled with random knit stuff I don't wear. Not cause I don't
like them, but because I keep forgetting they exist.

Here's another box chocked full o' knit stuff.

I was reorganizing my stash and took some pics,
of course, I accidentally erased the pic that didn't
cut off the top half of the picture. There's like 2
more feet above the picture covered in yarn.

Here's some of the first yarn I bought, the acrylic icky
stuff I got before I knew better. I'm taking most of it to
Goodwill this weekend.

Knitting books and magazines (and next shelf over Fruits basket, Yay!!)

I just got this yarn from Little Knits online. I needed the Cascade
Fixation, which I got for $3 a ball, but I had to spend a minimum of
$20 for them to ship it. I got the fixation (to make Ryan stuff) and
Cascade Pastaza for $5, (it's normally about $10) and some Regia Crazy
Colors sock yarn.

And here's the socks I knit. I'm not sure I like how the
top ended up striping with the ribbing, so I may reknit this,
and work toe up instead. Otherwise, I love the striping!

See?

Speaking of sock yarn, check out the sock yarn my Secret Pal
got for me! It's pretty snuggly and it appears to have big cool
blocks of fading colors. I can't wait to see how this knits up!

I have been toying with the idea of knitting with wire and
found a cool pack of different colored wire. Fun, huh?

Here's the headkerchief I made using the Handknit Holidays
Book I got. See, see? You can see the back and the front cause
I took the pic in the mirror. Oh yeah baby, I rock!
I have been wearing this thing everywhere too
(and you can see my little wall fairies, cute huh?)

And here's a scarf I started to make to match the headkerchief.
I got the stitch pattern from Knitting on the Edge, which is such
a cool book. But as you can see, a few stiches fell off the needle
and I had to take it apart and am gonna start it again.

And here's my new journal. It's really cool, you move the
little bamboo rods and the front flap opens. And the paper
is made out of some Nepalese shrub, not trees. It's pretty,
but hard to erase on.

I made this mitten in class the other night. I've been working
on duplicate stitching an argyle pattern overtop (as stitching
colorwork in the round is a big ol pain in the ass). But my duplicate
stitching skills could use work.

I posted this in my journal, but need to have it here for
documentation purposes. It's my Noro scarf blocking.
And MJ.

I also posted this in my journal. It's my Cashsoft cabled Panta.

Stitch Details

I made this Panta for Marley using leftover Fixation.

And lastly, my little MJ. Here she is playing behind the couch.

Here's yet another thing I love about this cat. She always
sits on something cushy. See? She's not just on the couch, but
she's sitting on the pillows on the couch. Because the couch
isn't cushy enough, see? She does the same thing onthe bed, sit
on pillows, but she's on a friggin soft bed. Only the best for little MJ.

This is MJs preferred position when I'm working,
directly in my arms like a baby.

And here's my angel sleeping

Marley's school picture. I didn't feel like resizing
