Here's the shrug I made. It's admittedly kinda shitty.
It's knit from last season's Interweave Knits Staff Shrug
"Minimalist Shrug". It's made with ribbon yarn, but they
ran out of the color I wanted, so I made stripes and the
stripes are poorly laid out.
What can I say, a swing and a miss...

Here's some openwork I was playing around with.
It's Knitty's Branching Out scarf pattern. I knit it with
Classic Elite Inca Alpaca on size 10s.

Zepher on size 3s. I really enjoyed it and can't wait
to knit more openwork. I took pics of it against a dark
background and against a light background, for contrast
