I took this picture a few weeks back on a yarn shopping trip
to the city. This picture says a lot, none of which I can repeat

 

 

At first, I wanted to make gingerbread men. Then I said to myself,
It's equal opportunity, I should make gingerbread women too. Then
I saw the animal gingerbread cookies and my mind raced with heinous
beastiality jokes. Because nothing says delicious
like eating out a buffalo.

 

This yarn is made from banana silk. It's a really beautiful green
and is suprisingly heavy. I got it as a last little gift for my secret pal

I made these mittens as an experiment in dulpicate
stitching, which I am obviously not very good at

 

Bouler belt from knitting, done with hemp yarn and size 2
needles. This is the only knitting project ever that I just
flat out gave up on. It makes my wrists hurt something fierce.
I may redo it, but with longer spaces in between the cables.

 

Knitty Branching Out made with Karabella Gossamer for
my grandmother. Of course, I forgot to take a pic of it blocked,
when it looked much cooler. Oh well. You can't tell, but the yarn
has these little silver shiny bits throughout.

It was Wiggums month for being cute. I guess he got sick of all
attention my little MJ gets. Here he is napping in some knitting
projects and yarn that fell on the floor

So, I don't know which is worse, picking the cat up
like he's the meat of a cat taco, or taking a picture of
him while he's the meat in a cat taco....

And not to be outdone, here's Eve, a most surly sourpuss
telling all who approach to sit and spin

 

We got a guinea pig for Marley after all the hamsters died.
He is all tan and white, with a black triangle over one eye,
like a pirate's eyepatch. So we named him Captain Fuzzybritches.
He likes to hide a lot, so I didn't wanna force him out to take a
pic of him.

 

And because I haven't enough shit on my desk, I made origami
cranes to hang from each side. Cause my deask was so plain before.
Cause, I mean, for real, like I've ever had a messy desk before

I bought these cool bud vases from Longwood gardens. Perty, huh?

A gift to me, from me, for being such a good girl this year

My tree! I still have the pink one, but I like pine smell
but dislike pine needles funking up my house

 

Ryan got me these 43 circular needles from Ebay.
I love him so!! They were only $200, and if you know anything
about needles, you know that that's a steal. Now I gotta make
some sexy needles cases

 

Yarn winder Ryan got me for Christmas...

 

....Along with an umbrella swift (see all the neatly wound balls of
yarn!!) and a large and a small cat calender, of which I could look at for
hours, and the book Knitting on the Edge, which I can also look at for hours

 

DVDs he got me. Woo!

 

And some cool miscelanious things. Included, a
sausage, to remind me of him

 

When you pull blue thing, a man comes out and when you
let it go, the shark eats the man. So very fun!
