August Pictures

First of all, it's Betsy!!!!

Hi!!!

Here she is in her little playpen area. Yeah, I managed to
find Pokemon Fleece at the fabric store. I am officially too
cool for school.

Here's the little home I set up for her. Ryan cut out the top
and put screen in so she wouldn't get too stuffy, and I decorated it
with soldered air holes and foam letters and shapes. Oh, and green Carefresh

I made this little "snuggle sack" type of carrying bag for her, so I
can take her out with me. I didn't use any kind of pattern, and it shows. Oh well. But since
I did this one (the prototype), I think I make make other ones and make them better. Like,
the zipper could be less puckered and it's way too tall. It also should have been lined
with interfacing also, to make it stiffer.

Here's the inside, it's lined with fleece.

And the top screened part

Here's the back of Sizzle. I'm about half way through the
front. It's a rather boring knit.

Dart action

I got this fly little kit form the LYS. I'd been oogling the pattern for
years online, so when I actually saw it in real life, I had to snatch it up.
It's a cute little flower hat for Marley, how sweet, right?

Here's the colors that the hat will be.

I started a scarf for my mom's husband Todd months and months ago,
but the more I worked with the yarn, the more I hated it. I've been
on the prowl for a replacement, and I found it in this tweedy wool.

And here's my lazy fat cat who no longer stands up to eat,
she actually is seen here laying down eating. So fat....

Big Second Grade Girl!!!

The following are pictures I took on a trip Ryan, Marley and I took to
the Aquarium and the Children's Garden in Camden. Pardon some of the pictures
looking "soft focus". It wasn't intentional, the lens was dirty and I didn't
notice until about halfway through the day.
